The Pitch

I offer script reading and feedback to a high industry standard for freelance writers.

The Back Story
I have over 20 years experience as an industry professional, across TV, Stage and Radio. I am the writer of 60+ hours of broadcasted television. - on some of the UK’s most popular shows; Call The Midwife, My Mad Fat Diary, Casualty, Eastenders, Youngers, The Interceptor.
I have worked in multiple roles within TV production: Lead Writer, Showrunner, Story Producer, Executive Producer.
Multi Award winning: x2 BAFTA, x1 National Television Award, x3 Royal Television Society Awards.
My theatre work includes Sherlock Holmes - the Best Kept Secret (dir. Nikolai Foster, Leeds Playhouse and national tour), Angus Thongs and Even More Snogging, (adaptation of a series of young adult novels by Louise Rennison), Scuffer, Crap Dad and Sunbeam Terrace (Leeds Playhouse).
Plays are published by Oberon Books.
The Budget
All work undertaken is charged at a daily rate of £240 + VAT charged pro rata (reduced rates available to those new to writing).

For example: A 50 page TV script reading with notes via email and follow-up face to face meeting of 1 hour, can all be achieved at the price of one working day.
